Shawna Heintz, O.D. specializes in a full scope of optometry, from children to seniors.  

 

She provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens care, as well as diagnoses, treats, and manages ocular diseases, injuries and disorders of the eye.

 

Dr. Heintz has practiced in the Northland for over 20 years.  She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa in 1991.  She graduated cum laude with her doctor of optometry degree in 1995 from the Illinois College of Optometry.  She did internships at University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and Sidney Hillman Health Center.

 

In her free time, Dr. Heintz enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and daughters Allyson and Haley.
